Robert Weakley is a senior commercial and functional leader with 40+ years of experience in the medical device market. As a strong strategic planner and decision maker, Robert has led cross-functional teams to introduce innovative new technologies and develop markets, growing revenues and increasing market share.
After retiring from Zimmer-Biomet he started Bayview Medical Device Consulting, LLC. where he has successfully helped market-leading companies develop strategies and plans to enter new markets. While at Zimmer-Biomet Robert was Vice President of Business Development across several divisions (Spine, CMF & T, Robotics) assisting as a member of the team in the acquisition of the ROSA Robot and in developing robotic strategies across divisions.
Prior to Zimmer-Biomet, Robert held various leadership positions within Medtronic Spine & Biologics. He and his teams successfully launched new market leading technologies that today still are market leaders. Robert held leadership roles within marketing, customer development, and as the physician liaison across spine .
Prior to joining Medtronic Robert worked for several medical companies in leadership roles in marketing and sales. Robert has a BS in Business (Marketing) from Tennessee Technological University as well as, advanced marketing and business administration courses at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.

As a recognized leader in the orthopedic/spine industry, Mark Ojeda brings a 30-year track record of successfully leading marketing and product development teams and has successfully commercialized products and procedural solutions that have collectively generated hundreds of millions in revenue.
Mark is currently an independent strategic advisor/consultant in the medical technology space. He most recently spent 3+ years at Alphatec Holdings (ATEC Spine) as Executive Vice President for the Cervical and Biologics franchises, rebuilding both the marketing teams and product portfolios, resulting in company-leading revenue growth during his tenure.
Prior to ATEC, Mark spent twelve years at NuVasive, Inc., where he was Vice President of Cervicothoracic Systems, credited with leading the evolution of the product portfolio and transforming the cervical product team. In his previous role as NuVasive’s Vice President of Global Integrated Products and Services, Mark was responsible for integrating intraoperative monitoring and biologics technologies across the lumbar and cervical business units.
Prior to joining NuVasive, he held various leadership roles at Smith & Nephew and Medtronic Sofamor Danek.
He holds a BS in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Christian Brothers University.

With more than 20 years in the medical device industry, Mr. Painter has managed all facets of a dynamic medical device firm understanding every aspect of successful commercialization of game changing product portfolios.
Bolstering his early large company experience, Mr. Painter further enhanced his skill set by playing a key leadership role in several successful start-ups as well as creating and leading his own successful medical device distributorship.
He currently resides in Memphis, TN, along his wife, Kathryn, and three boys - Max(18), Parks(17) and John (14).
